U wont learn humility. U wont learn respect. U wont learn the company inside out or from the bottom up. What u will learn is something very important, and perhaps a little frightening, about yourself.
The people who get ahead have a need, are driven to perform a task well, no matter what the task is or how mundate it may actually be. They bring to each job an attitude which actually transforms the job into something greater. Carpenters who became contractors, at one time had a need to drive a nail straighter and truer than anyone else. Waiters who end up owning restaurants were at om time very good waiters.
Some executives had they started in the mail room, would still be sorting mail-and misrouting most of it.

nice one ... though i think i have heard something like it ... almost a million tyms (mayb)... but i still like it ... it seems soo true ... not so much of a thing to be stated ... but ... mayb felt ... or realised ... just a simple liking for wot u r doing ... makes all the diff i guess ... !! ok ok ... i wont get started all over again ... i think we have spoken about this b4 though ... :) ... !!
